Pikachu Guide Introduction
Speed is the name of the game when it comes to Pikachu, and comboing with him has never been easier. All his moves have a ton of high duration hits and the lag time on his air attacks is nearly non-existent. His Quick Attack also has some sweet mind-game potential, and allows him to perform off-stage edge-guarding with ease.Pikachu Amibo for SSBU
Pikachu Combos
When it comes to combos, Pikachu can combo exceedingly well, especially if he's up against a larger character with big hitboxes. Here are some sample combos:
- Up Air + Neutral Air + Up Tilt + Back Air
- Up Throw + Neutral Air
- Up Air + Forward Air + Forward Air
- Up Tilt + Up Air
- Up Tilt + Neutral Air
Pikachu Tips
- Zone with Pikachu's Thunder Jolt, but be careful of parries when you go in for additional hits.
- Thunder pushes Pikachu up a bit, allowing him to stall out off-ledge.
- Skull Bash can be used prior to Quick Attack for recovery, but on most stages won't be necessary and sets you up to be punished.
