Bowser Jr. Guide Introduction

Bowser Jr. is Bowser's faster and more combo capable mini. He doesn't play anything like Bowser, and is severely lacking in kill moves. If you want to get a kill with him outside of a smash attack, your best bet is going to be to gimp them off the stage and edgeguard.

Bowser Jr. Combos

When it comes to combos, Bowser Jr.'s got a lot of moves that are fast, but have awkward knockbacks. Comboing reliably with him is somewhat difficult as a result, but here's one combo that may work depending on the percentage they're at:

• Down B + Side Aerial + Down tilt + Dash Attack

Bowser Jr. Tips

• Unlike in Smash 4, Bowser Jr. can now fire a cannon ball even while another one is in play.
• Clown Kart Dash has super armor on all hitboxes, use this similarly to Bowser's super armor.

The Jr. Clown Car this little fella rides in takes less damage when attacked than Bowser Jr. himself—so try to stay in the car when taking damage. The different color variations are the Koopalings!
