Bayonetta Guide Introduction

While Bayonetta reigned supreme on almost every tier list for Smash 4, most current tier lists place her lower for now. However, keep her on the radar! Most players prior to the game release figured she'd still be one of the best once players go used to her changes.

Her skills still combo extremely well and her multi-hit tilts give her a ton of shield pressure options.

Bayonetta Combos

Bayonetta's combos generally involve knocking up the enemy character first then following up with a series of aerials or multi-hit combos. Some examples include:

• Side B + Up Tilt + Up Aerial + Up B
• Side Tilt x3 + Forward Aerial x3

Bayonetta Tips

• While Bayonetta isn't nearly as dominating as she was in Smash 4, utilizing her combos effectively still results in a character that can apply heavy pressure and specializes in long-duration combos.
