Inkling Guide Introduction

Recently rated the #1 character on ZeRo's Tier List, Inkling has a lot going for her. Her dash dance is incredibly difficult to predict her movements, and the animation also allows her to fill her ink in between dash dancing relatively safely.

Her Splat Roller (Side + B) is by far one of the most obnoxious attacks in the game, and good canceling gives her an almost guaranteed smash attack. Unlike other characters like King K. Rool, she's incredibly difficult to wiggle free from.

Inkling Combos

Inkling's combos have good variation, and her standard jab combo is incredibly good on its own. Here are a few examples of key combos:

• Up Throw + Up Air
• Down Throw + Jab combo
• Splat Roller + Dash Up Smash or Side Smash

Inkling Tips

• Keep a close eye on your Ink Gauge, once you run out you won't be able to do certain moves and others will be much weaker.
• Take advantage of her auto-sweet spot Up + B, while it's not perfect, the majority of players will find it difficult to punish.
• Practice canceling her Splat Roller (Side + B), this will be your easiest kill move, especially against less practiced players.
